By accessing or using GuardHound ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Service. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. GuardHound does not knowingly collect personal data from users under 16 years of age. If we become aware that a user is under 16, we will promptly delete their account and associated data.
GuardHound is a domain security monitoring platform that performs automated security checks on domains you submit, including SSL certificate validation, DNS record analysis, CVE vulnerability scanning, WHOIS change detection, and lookalike domain detection.
You warrant that you own, operate, or are explicitly authorized to monitor every domain you submit to GuardHound.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. GuardHound does not guarantee that:
GuardHound is a monitoring tool, not a substitute for professional security auditing, penetration testing, or compliance assessment.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GuardHound and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, security breaches, or business interruption.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GuardHound from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, including any unauthorized domain scanning conducted through your account.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our data retention policy.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service ("Dispute") shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting legal@guardhound.io. If the Dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters relating to intellectual property or unauthorized access.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Kent County, Michigan. To the extent any Dispute is not subject to arbitration under Section 11, the exclusive jurisdiction and venue shall be the state and federal courts located in Kent County, Michigan.
For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA): The arbitration clause and class action waiver in Section 11 do not apply to you. You retain the right to bring claims before your local courts and competent supervisory authorities in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law.
